On 4 Sep, a delegation of 21 members from the Hong Kong building survey community visited our institute under the leadership of Xiao Jiahong, deputy head of the education and science department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., deputy director Wang Zongling and relevant experts attended the reception meeting. 

On behalf of the institute, vice director Wang Zongling welcomed Mr. Xiao and his delegation, and introduced our work on Marine scientific research, especially on Marine surveying and mapping, comprehensive utilization of coastal zones and Marine ecological protection. Mr. Xiao gave full recognition to our marine scientific research work and hoped that the Hong Kong building survey industry association would have more cooperation with us in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao greater bay area. Subsequently, the two parties exchanged views on key issues concerning marine surveying and mapping, comprehensive utilization of coastal zones, and marine ecological protection.
